Nablus University for Vocational and Technical Education (NUVTE) is a governmental university under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Its philosophy is based on the principle of “learning by doing,” with a strong emphasis on hands-on training that accounts for 50-60% of a student’s total academic hours. The university offers different levels of training, including a Professions Certificate, a Technicians Diploma, and a Bachelor’s degree. NUVTE’s mission is to qualify graduates in various technical and vocational fields to meet the needs of the job market and to serve as a key source of research on vocational education and training in Palestine. The university has several colleges, including the College of Technical and Vocational Engineering and the Ibn Sina College for Health Professions.
